Catarina Rolfsdotter-Jansson is an expert moderator, lecturer, and devoted workshop leader in facilitating sustainable development. She is also content director at A Sustainable Tomorrow and co-founder of the global climate NGO Our Kids´Climate.

Framework Convention on Climate Change, Nick was the Director of Communications and Spokesperson for the Paris Agreement of 2015. Mr. Steiner’s professional experience includes assignments with governmental, non-governmental, as well as international organizations around the world, most recently Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme between 2006 and 2016. He previously served as Director-General of the United Nations Office in Nairobi from 2009 to 2011, Director-General of the International Union for Conservation of Nature from 2001 to 2006, and as Secretary-General of the World Commission on Dams, in South Africa, from 1998 to 2001.

Boaz Paldi is the United Nations Development Programme Chief Creative Officer. In this role, Boaz oversees UNDP’s advocacy, flagship campaigns, events and partnerships. Most recently Paldi managed the design, rollout and launch of the #dontchooseextinction campaign. Before being appointed to his current role, Paldi led UNDP’s advocacy and communication as well as implementing UNDP’s multimedia strategy and co-founding the Social Good Summit. Cassie Flynn is the Global Director of Climate Change at UNDP. The portfolio supports over 150 countries to take bold climate action. She previously served as the Strategic Advisor on climate change to UNDP’s Administrator and Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister of Fiji as COP23 President. Cassie is an internationally recognized expert on the treaty negotiations on climate change and has been a featured expert by CNN, BBC, Wall Street Journal, Le Monde, New York Times, and other publications. Cassie earned her master's degree from Yale University and undergraduate degrees from Bowdoin College.

Dr. Yasmine Fouad is Minister of Environment of the Arabic Republic of Egypt. Her expertise is in Environment and International cooperation with more than 18 years’ experience working in Government, in UN organizations, NGOs and Universities. She holds her MSc in Environmental Science and PhD in Political Science / Euro Mediterranean Studies. She had gained extensive experience in climate change issues through her diversified work with academic, government and non-government organizations and International organizations.

Omnia El Omrani is the first official Youth Envoy for the COP27 President and a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Resident from Egypt. She has more than seven years of experience in climate change and facilitated over 74 hours of training sessions and workshops in 15 countries across the world. She is a Commissioner at the Lancet-Chatham House Commission on Post-COVID Population Health, a Youth Sounding Board member of the EU DG-INTPA, an associate at Women Leaders for Planetary Health, and a member of the Global Youth Coalition for Road Safety and UNICEF-Az Youth Leaders Programme. She has attended the last three UN Climate Change Conferences in Katowice, Madrid, and Glasgow, representing more than 1.3 million medical students worldwide in the International Federation of Medical Students' Association (IFMSA).

Johan Falk is a leader and entrepreneur in exponential strategies for climate and business. Falk is the CEO and Co-founder of Exponential Roadmap Initiative, with the mission to accelerate exponential climate action. Falk is the co-lead author of Exponential Roadmap and 1.5°C Business Playbook. Falk is a former Senior Innovation Fellow at Stockholm Resilience Centre and Future Earth. Falk was one of the initiators of the Global Carbon Law idea, together with Owen Gaffney and Johan Rockström, inspired by Moore's Law. Further, Falk was part of Intel Corporation 2006-2018, responsible for Intel IoT Ignition Lab and heading up the Intel Edge Cloud Game Changer program for 5G networks. Elizabeth spoke at the opening ceremony of COP26 in Glasgow and was this year named to the TIME100 Next global list of the most influential people in their fields.

Ignace Beguin Billecocq is Ocean Lead for the UN High-Level Climate Champions and Senior Manager, Ocean and Climate, at the UN Global Compact. With the UN High-Level Climate Champions, Ignace is leading the engagement with the ocean community and ocean-based industries for COP26. By engaging and mobilizing a diverse group of stakeholders, Ignace’s ambition is to scale up ocean-based climate solutions.

Loreley Picourt is the Executive Director of the Ocean & Climate Platform – an international network over 100 organisations working towards a better integration of the ocean-climate-biodiversity nexus into decision making. She is the focal point for the Marrakech Partnership-Global Climate Action on Ocean and Coastal Zones.

Ambassador Peter Thomson has served as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for the Ocean since 2017, in which role he is driving the implementation of UN Sustainable Development Goal 14, to conserve and sustainably use the resources of the Ocean. He was elected to the serve as President of the General Assembly of the United Nations for its 2016-17 term. He was Fiji’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 2010 to 2016, during which time he was President of the Executive Board of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the United Nations Office of Project Services (UNOPS). He led the Fiji team of diplomats that in 2013 chaired the Group of 77 and China – the UN’s largest negotiating group, comprised of 133 developing countries. Ambassador Peter Thomson is a founding Co-Chair of the Friends of Ocean Action and is a supporting member of the High-Level Panel for Sustainable Ocean Economy.

H.E. Aminath Shauna is the Minister of Environment, Climate Change and Technology of the Republic of Maldives. Her portfolio includes protecting the natural environment, action and advocacy on climate change, science and technology development, and the implementation of policies on energy, telecommunications, water and waste management, along with policy direction of the Environmental Protection Agency and Biosphere Reserve Office. Prior to her appointment as Minister, Shauna served as the Policy Secretary to H.E. President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

Mats is Head of Sustainability at Ericsson with responsibility for climate action, circular economy, energy performance and triple bottom line impact of products, services and company operations. Taking this role after restructuring the Health & Safety organization in the company. During mats leadership the company has set targets that are accepted to be on a 1.5°C by the Science Based Target initiative. Mats has initiated and participated in various research projects e.g. as a member of the steering group for the Exponential Climate Action Roadmap report as well as the ICT & SDGs Report with Columbia University on how information technology has the potential to accelerate halving of global carbon emissions as well as reaching the Sustainable Development Goals. Before rejoining Ericsson, among several other leading roles e.g. Head of Sustainability at Sony Ericsson launching the Green Heart brand for mobile phones and accessories.

Gabrielle has managed BT Group’s thought leadership and external advocacy programmes on environmental sustainability since 2009. Her work has spanned developing BT's carbon targets, including BT's 1.5°C science-based target and carbon abatement methodologies for BT’s products and services as well as working with BT’s Procurement division on supplier engagement strategy. Gabrielle represents BT Group in numerous external fora and has chaired the UNFCCC Global Climate Action Awards Advisory Panel. She has previously held roles in public affairs and programme management at BT and has an MA from SAIS Johns Hopkins University and an MSc from University College London.

Catherine leads the UN High-level Climate Champions’ Industry sector work to mobilise systems change and deliver the goals of the Paris Agreement. This involves activating the ambition loop between non-state actors and national governments across 7 sectors, with a focus on Steel and Technology. Prior to the Champions, Catherine has 10 years from industry, most recently Global Head of Sustainability at Stuart Delivery, scaling a program to electrify fleets across Europe, committing to a Net Zero SBTi pathway and becoming a pending B Corp.

Pär Stenmark is the Chief Sustainability Officer at Inter IKEA Group - covering the IKEA product and food range, supply, production and franchising. He leads the global IKEA sustainability strategy, which includes transforming IKEA into a circular business, becoming climate positive, creating a fair and equal society and enabling healthy and sustainable living. Before joining IKEA, Pär worked for the Swedish Forestry Association, responsible for developing the world´s first national FSC-standard (Forest Stewardship Council) for responsible forestry certification.

Before joining SBTi, Luiz served as Director for Commodities and Finance at the World Resources Institute (WRI), leading the institute ́s work on sustainable global supply chains. At WRI he also directed the product development team for Global Forest Watch, technology-based solutions to monitor world ́s forests. In addition, Luiz has served on personal capacity on several external board positions, such as credit committee member of the &Green Fund, a multi-million blended-finance facility investing in sustainable agriculture, the innovation and sustainability board at Minerva Foods, the largest Latin American beef exporter, as well as steering committee deputy member for the Tropical Forest Alliance.

Dr. Susan Gardner is a Mexican-American environmental scientist, known for her pioneering research on ecotoxicology and her critical contributions to the Minamata Convention on Mercury. Dr. Gardner has over two decades of experience in supporting countries in conserving and restoring their terrestrial, freshwater and marine ecosystems. Prior to serving as the Director of UNEP’s Ecosystems Division, she was a senior official in the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the U.S. Department of State, and she worked for the Mexican Federal Government as an environmental scientist at the Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas del Noroeste. She holds a Doctoral Degree in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences from the University of Washington and a Master’s of Science Degree in Toxicology from North Carolina State University. Her research has generated over 30 publications including a book and book chapters on topics related to ecology, toxicology, fisheries management and species conservation.

Brian leads the Climate-Aligned Finance Program at RMI, where he directs the financial system and to mobilize capital for the transition to a secure, prosperous, and equitable global economy. In this role, he serves as the Executive Director of RMI’s Center for Climate-Aligned Finance and is a member of the Advisory Committee to the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero. A recognized leader on international climate finance and development policy, Brian is a member of the US Export-Import Bank Chair’s Council on Climate. He also served on the Biden-Harris Presidential Transition team, where he focused on the US International Development Finance Corporation and USAID. Previously, Brian served as Managing Director of Business Development for OPIC’s Global Energy Group, where he led the group’s origination and account management for financing power projects in emerging markets and developing countries. He also spent seven years leading the US Department of Commerce’s efforts to develop markets for US renewable energy companies, with a particular focus on China and India.

Collste is a postdoctoral researcher at the Planetary Boundaries Research Lab. He studies feedback between human development, the economy, and planetary boundaries. Collste has a background in system dynamics, economics, political science, and resilience thinking. Collste co-leads the module on systems thinking at Stockholm Resilience Centre’s Master’s program, and lectures on ecological economics and system dynamics modeling. In his Ph.D. thesis, he studied different approaches to assessing the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals. Before joining Stockholm Resilience Centre, he worked at the United Nations on the 2030 Agenda and SDGs. He has also worked at the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation (Naturskyddsföreningen). Collste holds a joint Ph.D. degree in Sustainability Science from Stockholm University and Economics from CERDI at Université Clermont Auvergne in France.

Owen is a global sustainability writer, analyst and strategist. He is based at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and Stockholm Resilience Centre. He is also a Future Earth Senior Fellow, an Edmund Hillary Fellow (New Zealand) and he is on the faculty of Singularity University. He is interested in big-picture narratives of the past and future of people on Earth (and beyond). He has published in Science and Nature and is a regular contributor to New Scientist. He co-founded the Future Earth Media Lab and Rethink magazine and is on the editorial board of the Anthropocene magazine.

Maya is the Our Kids’ Climate Co-Director, where she works with parent-climate leaders and grassroots groups from around the world to build innovative campaigns for a just transition away from fossil fuels to clean energy, for clean air and climate justice. She is also the co-founder of Mothers Rise Up that carries out cutting-edge creative campaigns to call out the role that the insurance industry plays in enabling new fossil fuel projects, such as the proposed East African Crude Oil Pipeline. Maya has helped spearhead the #KidsFirst campaign that aims to amplify and champion children’s fears, hopes and dreams at COP27.

Devika is a subject matter expert with published work on innovative public-private partnerships. She has over 20 years of experience working with complex institutions and multi-sector stakeholders from corporate, government, and nonprofit in the United States, United Kingdom, Asia, and India. As Chief Development & Marketing Officer at Health In Harmony, she leads the global development and communications strategy to accelerate the organization’s growth to meet the urgency of the climate and nature crisis.

Dr. Walker is an ecologist and remote sensing specialist whose research focuses on the measurement and monitoring of global forests with an emphasis on understanding the role that forests have to play in both mitigating and exacerbating climate change. He develops baseline global data sets on forest carbon stocks and change, using them to advance carbon cycle science, indigenous territorial rights, natural climate solutions, and forest carbon markets, among other interests.

Belai is a 20-year old Climate Reality Leader and Indigenous Environmental Activist coming from the Dayak Tribe of Borneo Island, Indonesia. Whilst pursuing a Bachelor of Medical Sciences at The University of Sheffield UK, Belai continues to actively contribute to local communities in West Borneo through advocating for Indigenous Peoples' rights, promoting inclusive community-based forest management, and amplifying voices of the youth for climate action.

Prof. Dr. Niklas Höhne is an internationally renowned expert in climate policy with over 20 years of experience, participating in the international climate negotiations since 1995. He co-founded NewClimate Institute, where he oversees analysis on national and international climate policy and assumes various management roles. He also holds a professorship “mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions” at Wageningen University.

Prof. Dr. Johan Rockström is the Director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and Professor at the Institute of Earth and Environmental Science at Potsdam University. Rockström is an internationally recognized scientist on global sustainability issues, who led the development of the new Planetary Boundaries framework for human development in the current era of rapid global change at the Stockholm Resilience Centre. He is a leading scientist on global water resources, with about 25 years of experience from applied water research in tropical regions, and more than 150 research publications in fields ranging from applied land and water management to global sustainability. Aside from his research helping to guide policy, Rockström consults several governments and business networks. He also acts as an advisor for sustainable development issues at noteworthy international meetings, such as the World Economic Forum, the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Conferences (UNFCCC). Supplementary, he chairs the advisory board for the EAT Foundation and the Earth League.

Dr. Shobha Maharaj, Terraformation’s Science Director, is an IPCC Lead Author from the AR6 Working Group II chapters on biodiversity hotspots and on Small Islands. She was one of 50 world experts selected to work on the IPBES-IPCC workshop report on Biodiversity and Climate Change. She’s previously served as a climate change and biodiversity advisor for the University of the West Indies and as a Coordinating Lead Author on the climate resilience chapter of the National Ecosystem Assessment for the Caribbean Small Island tri-island state of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. Her research has centered on climate impacts and risk assessment as well as mitigation and adaptation strategies in response to changing climate conditions across global biodiversity hotspots. She holds a doctorate from the University of Oxford.

Kate Brandt is Google's Chief Sustainability Officer and leads sustainability across worldwide operations, products and supply chains. In 2014 President Obama appointed Kate to serve as the Federal Environmental Executive and she became the Nation's first Federal Chief Sustainability Officer. Kate is the recipient of the Distinguished Public Service Award, the highest award the U.S. Navy can give to a civilian, for her work helping the Navy go green.

Steven Moore is responsible for the Climate Action Programme at the GSMA, the mobile industry association. His role is to provide leadership to support and accelerate the industry transition to Net Zero by 2050. Steven chairs the GSMA Climate Action Taskforce, a global group of more than 60 mobile operator members. He works with the industry on climate policy, strategy and research covering energy efficiency, renewables, supply chain engagement, smart solutions to reduce emissions, and climate adaptation and resilience.

Niklas is responsible for the Volvo Group's larger collaborative projects in sustainable transport solutions, community contacts, and new innovation systems both internally Volvo and in the surrounding ecosystem of start-ups, universities, community actors, and well-established companies within and outside the transport industry. Niklas is head of Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs.

Mattias Frumerie is Sweden's chief climate negotiator and Head of Delegation to UNFCCC. Mr. Frumerie has spent most of his professional career in the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, in roles such as head of Strategic communications, head of EU internal market, head of EU policy as well as postings in Budapest and Brussels. Mr. Frumerie has also served as an EU advisor in the Prime Minister's office.

Sherri Goodman is the Secretary General of the International Military Council on Climate & Security and Senior Fellow at the Wilson Center’s Environmental Change and Security Program and Polar Institute. She is credited with educating a generation of U.S. military and government officials about the nexus between climate change and national security, using her famous coinage, “threat multiplier,” to fundamentally reshape the national discourse on the topic. A former first Deputy Undersecretary of Defense (Environmental Security) and staff member on the Senate Armed Services Committee, Goodman has founded, led, or advised nearly a dozen research organizations on environmental and energy matters, national security, and public policy. She currently serves on the National Academies Advisory Committee to the US Global Change Research Program, and is senior climate advisor to the US Government. She holds degrees from Harvard Law School, Harvard Kennedy School, and Amherst College.

Sophia Kianni is an Iranian-American environmentalist studying climate science and public policy at Stanford University. She is the founder and executive director of Climate Cardinals, an international nonprofit with 8,000 volunteers in 40+ countries working to translate climate information into over 100 languages. She represents the U.S as the youngest member of the inaugural United Nations Youth Advisory Group on Climate Change. She has been named VICE Media’s youngest Human of the Year, a National Geographic Young Explorer, and BuzzFeed’s youngest Woman to Watch.

David has developed a technology platform called the Universal Processing Plant which eliminates waste from food processing, utilizes waste from other food processors and allows the waste on farm to be monetized. The 100% utilization of the total crop and the feed stock has material impact on cost of goods and the overall nutritional value of food ingredients. The Future of Food demands that we utilize everything and waste nothing. David, though his Universal Processing Plant is delivering on this future with a plan to is implementable today and transitions into tomorrow’s food requirements.

Christina Ferzli is Vice President, Global Head of Public Affairs and ESG at WeWork where she leads government affairs, media relations, ESG, and public relations. Prior to joining WeWork, Ferzli was Head of Global Corporate Affairs for Ocean Spray, Inc. and previously served as strategy director and legal counsel to Michelle Obama's health initiatives from 2012 to 2017. Ms. Ferzli also worked at both the Milken Institute, helping to scale early-stage startups making a positive impact, and at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP in litigation. Ms. Ferzli received both her undergraduate and Juris Doctor degrees from Georgetown University.

Since 2003 he was involved in the start of Dance4life(.com) where Wessel headed global communications and marketing until 2010. Since 2013 Wessel is purpose marketeer at Justdiggit and heads up global communications and marketing and is a member of the executive board.

Brent is one of the lead authors on the EAT-Lancet report and author of the Food and Nature-Based solutions chapters in the Exponential Roadmap 1.5 report. EAT is a global, non-profit foundation established by the Stordalen Foundation, Stockholm Resilience Centre and Wellcome Trust to catalyze a food system transformation.

Saint-Francis Tohlang is a member of the executive committee of Nestlé East & Southern Africa Region (ESAR), a region comprising of 23 countries, leading the Corporate Communications & Public Affairs function. Stuart is primarily responsible for communications and engagement within Volvo Cars’ Global Sustainability Team. Stuart has been driving the sustainability agenda across the company since he joined in 2016. This includes the development of Volvo’s present strategy, focused on climate action, the circular economy, and ethical and responsible business. He is a passionate believer that a strong focus on sustainability is essential to the future success and resilience of any business. Before joining Volvo Cars, he was a British diplomat for 16 years.

Rahmina Paullete is a 16-year-old climate activist, environmentalist and a wildlife conservationist from Kenya. She is the founder of Kisumu Environmental Champions which is a green initiative made up of 120 kids, teenagers and youths that are doing environmental conservation through clean-ups, growing trees, promoting climate literacy to the community and supporting their campaign called #LetLakeVictoriaBreathAgain which is focusing on restoring the ecosystem of Lake Victoria. Moreover, she has her own eco-business the name RahminaPaulleteEcoProducts which makes water hyacinth products. She is also a campaigner and the Focal Point of Food At Cop which is an international campaign that advocates for plant-based meals to be served at climate conferences, this year the campaign is aiming to promote indigenous vegetables to be served at Cop27. Furthermore, she is a climate activist at FridaysForFuture International, FridaysForFutureMapa and is a young climate champion at Wangari Maathai Foundation.
