Make Science Great Again

🧠 When Truth Becomes a Threat, Science Becomes Resistance

We’re at a turning point. Scientists are being silenced. Research labs are under threat. Disinformation is spreading faster than truth—risking a future where science is sidelined just when we need it most: to face the climate crisis, pandemics, biodiversity loss, and the challenges ahead.

That’s why we’re launching Make Science Great Again—a bold, global campaign to defend truth, empower scientists, and counter denial with evidence-based solutions.

Yes, we’re reclaiming the phrase. Not to go backward—but to push forward.
Science was great. It saved lives. Landed us on the moon. Connected the world.
Now, we need it to help save the future.

🎯 Our first goal:

Raise €1 million to launch the campaign during Climate Week NYC this September. We’ll build a TV studio in Manhattan and connect it to our European broadcast hub in Stockholm—creating a digital bridge where scientists can speak freely, unfiltered by politics or stopped by border controls.

Example from last year: The Climate Hub @ New York Climate Week 2024

From New York, we’ll carry the momentum to our TV studio inside the Diplomatic Zone at the next UN COP30 Climate Change Conference in Belém—and beyond.

Example from last year: Make your voice heard @ COP29

The goal: restore science to its rightful place—at the center of global decision-making.

With your support, we will:

  1. Defend scientists under attack—making sure we support them before it’s too late by spotlighting what’s at risk.
Example: The threatened closure of the Mauna Loa CO₂ Observatory—one of the world’s most critical climate monitoring stations. See video at top of page.

  2. Amplify and share knowledge about the science that works and is being implemented to help society.
Example: The science behind super pollutants that can cool our planet with up to 0.5°C—Action for Climate and Clean Air Series

  3. Invite corporate and government leaders to science-based dialogues. These conversations have led to real change.
Example: Interview with the largest pension fund in Sweden that divested from five oil companies after this interview.

  4. Secure mainstream media coverage through our global media network and partners.

Your donation supports the We Don’t Have Time Foundation

The foundation is the main owner of wedonthavetime.org—the world’s largest media platform for climate solutions, reaching nearly 200 million people and 10 million monthly viewers (on average).

This platform enables us to amplify science, challenge disinformation, and support those who are turning scientific knowledge into action—from researchers to responsible leaders in business and government.

Your contribution allows us to allocate resources where they are needed most—giving scientists, innovators, and truth-telling leaders the communication support they need to reach broad audiences and drive change.

But to keep doing this at scale—and to grow when it matters most—we rely on support from people like you.

Without it, the platform risks being limited or silenced—not by politics, but by lack of resources.

Together, we will:

  • Empower scientists to lead with truth
  • Defend science wherever it’s under threat
  • Ensure wedonthavetime.org continues to thrive
  • Grow a global resistance that protects us from sliding into a new dark age—where science is replaced by opinion

Donate time

🙌 This is not just a fundraiser. It’s a call to mobilize.

We’re also looking for volunteers who can give just one day a week to help us build this wave. Are you a scientist, communicator, developer, activist—or simply someone who wants to help? Do your colleagues have time to contribute? Let’s turn that energy into global impact.

Yes, I want to Make Science Great Again and volunteer one day a week
