The much-anticipated Award Ceremony for the tve Global Sustainability Film Awards 2022 (tve GSFA) was conducted at a special gala event, which took place at the Merchant Taylors’ Hall in the city of London on November 29, 2022. The prestigious awards which are now in its eleventh year, announced the winners of its five competitive film categories along with the Founder’s Award which is a special nominated category.
The award ceremony and gala dinner was well attended by distinguished filmmakers, sustainability experts, leaders from business houses and non profit organizations, film aficionados and other eminent guests who enthusiastically applauded the winners of the tve GSFA 2022.
The tve GSFA which is one of the most prestigious international film awards focused on global sustainability, rewards films both on their creativity as well as on the sustainability impact. This year it had received more than 70 film submissions worldwide as entries for the five competitive film categories.
A diverse and eminent international jury panel drawn from the fields of sustainability and filmmaking, adjudicated on the entries to first come up with three or four shortlisted films for each category and then announced the final winners.

The tve GSFA, now in its eleventh year, recognises outstanding films from the business, non-profit, media and creative sectors that inspire audiences with real-world solutions for a more sustainable future. Films are a powerful tool for raising public awareness, shifting public opinion and inspiring action. It is unique and different from other awards as it is both a film awards and a sustainability awards – entries are judged on the power of their storytelling and creativity, as well as on the credibility and impact of their content. The award categories recognize different types of sustainability issues and storytelling formats which speak to different audiences, from films by businesses at the forefront of technology, to films on greener living and transforming society, to longer duration documentaries and brilliant films by young filmmakers.
