A discussion webinar hosted by Terraformation and We Don't Have Time
Forests are the most powerful carbon capture system on Earth. But not all forests are created equal. Biodiverse native forest ecosystems can absorb many times more carbon than monoculture tree plantations.
To restore native forests around the globe, we must address an often overlooked bottleneck: seed supply. Global commitments to tree planting have already far outpaced the current supply of native seeds.
Join us to learn about how seed banking can help solve the climate crisis. Our panel with scientists, forest tech accelerators, and forest project owners will discuss the need for seed banking, solutions to address it, and how corporations and foundations can support this effort.

Beginning in 2005, Eden has scaled dramatically and become the most prolific non-profit tree-planting organization in the world. By June 2022, Eden will have surpassed the one billion tree planting milestone. Amazingly, over one million additional trees are planted each day all through the dedication of Eden’s 11,500+ employees who operate as agents of native species forest restoration.
