Presented by EARTHDAY.ORG, OMMM, and the Good News Corporation, and hosted by sustainability pioneer Jarvis Smith, this public gathering will bring together singers, artists, climate leaders, Indigenous voices, and the public in a spirit of joy and love that celebrates and honours our Mother Earth and all she provides for us.

Rev. Lennox Yearwood Jr. is the President & Founder of Hip Hop Caucus, a minister, community activist, U.S. Air Force veteran, and one of the most influential people in Hip Hop political life. Rev Yearwood entered the world of Hip Hop Politics as the Political and Grassroots Director for the Hip Hop Summit Action Network in 2003 and 2004, and as a key architect of P. Diddy’s “Vote Or Die!” campaign in a run up to the 2004 Presidential Election. To carry the energy of the efforts beyond election day, he founded Hip Hop Caucus in September of 2004. The goal of Hip Hop Caucus is to build a powerful and sustainable organization for the culture’s role in the civic process and empowerment of communities impacted first and worst by injustice. As a non-profit, non-partisan, multi-issue organization, Hip Hop Caucus focuses on addressing core issues impacting underserved and vulnerable communities, with programs and campaigns that support solution-driven community organizing led by today’s young leaders. Through a collaborative network, Hip Hop Caucus holds elected officials accountable, shapes policy, and builds more diverse and powerful movements to ignite positive change.

Since then, she has continued to captivate audiences with her powerful performances across film and television, most recently starring in Marvel's """"Luke Cage."""" She was also dubbed """"the voice of the movement"""" by famed climate activist Bill Mcckibben and is now Co-founder and CEO of Climate Revival, a new nonprofit dedicated to mobilizing faith communities and people of color on climate.
Dr. Lyla June Johnston (aka Lyla June) is an Indigenous musician, author, and community organizer of Diné (Navajo), Tsétsêhéstâhese (Cheyenne) and European lineages. Her multi-genre presentation style has engaged audiences across the globe towards personal, collective, and ecological healing. She blends her study of Human Ecology at Stanford, graduate work in Indigenous Pedagogy, and the traditional worldview she grew up with to inform her music, perspectives and solutions. Her doctoral research focused on the ways in which pre-colonial Indigenous Nations shaped large regions of Turtle Island (aka the Americas) to produce abundant food systems for humans and non-humans.
Anna Giulia Medri is the head of the UNDP Equator Initiative. An attorney by training, Anna Giulia is licensed to practice law in New York and Europe. She leads the work of the Equator Initiative within the Nature for Development programme recognizing, advancing and scaling Indigenous Peoples’ and local communities’ solutions for sustainable development for people, nature and resilient communities. Her background includes work experiences in the private sector as well as at a not-for-profit organization. Anna Giulia’s fascination with nature and her interest in human rights makes her an enthusiastic supporter of sustainable development solutions as means to ensure the respect of Indigenous Peoples communities’ basic rights.
Dr. Sweta Chakraborty is the CEO of North America, We Don’t Have Time. She is a partner at Pioneer Public Affairs. She is also the founder and principal of Adapt to Thrive, a venture that seeks to better inform individuals, businesses, and government entities on the complex, interconnected challenges, such as food insecurity and disease, already existing and emerging from a warming planet.

In Jarvis Smith two worlds collide with dynamic effect. On one hand a proud hippie, mystic, self-confessed tree-hugger and radical eco-warrior, Jarvis is also a thought leader, entrepreneur, speaker and renowned online retail businessman. His work gracing global publications, he now partners with and is advising brands including Natwest, HSBC, Deloitte, Citrix, the Parliament Trust, Octopus Energy, Yeo Valley and Weleda. It was in the middle of 14 years’ Shamanic training that Jarvis’ true awakening happened, during the filming of 2007 Channel 4 reality TV show ‘Dumped’. Shot on location on a Croydon landfill, the experience opened Jarvis’ eyes to the vast devastation human lifestyle waste was having on the planet.
Sister Dr. Jenna is an inclusionist who brings people together. She is a well known spiritual mentor in the DMV, author, radio and TV personality, renowned speaker, and the founder of the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Museum located in Maryland. She is well known for her community work, creativity, and initiating various projects that drive community engagement. Born to an Indian father and an African Jamaican mother, they migrated to America, where she grew up in a hybrid of cultures, which enriched her understanding of diverse spiritual practices and philosophies.Sister Dr. Jenna's journey into spirituality began at a pivotal moment in her life, leading her to the Brahma Kumaris, a worldwide movement dedicated to personal transformation and world renewal founded in India in the 1930s. Under the guidance of this organization, she deepened her understanding and spiritual wisdom.
Geshe Ngawang Tashi Bapu well known as Lama Tashi is President of Siddhartha Foundation, Mundgod. He has been Principal Chant Master of the Dalai Lama’s Drepung Loseling Monastery and was teaching at Central Institute of Himalayan Culture Studies, in India for 15 years as Associate Professor in Buddhist Philosophy and served as Director of the Institute for six years.
Geraldine Patrick Encina is a Consultant for One Earth, Executive Director of Earth Timekeepers, a Member of the Grand Council of the Eagle and the Condor, a Member of the Otomi Council of the High Lerma River Basin, a Member of the Academic and Technical Committee of the Biocultural Heritage Network of the National Council of Science and Technology in Mexico (CONACYT), a Member of Land Healers, a Member of the Interamerican Society for Astronomy in Culture (SIAC), and Board Member of the Pre-Columbian Society at UPenn Museum.
Dayana Blanco is an indigenous Aymara woman from Bolivia. She is the co-founder of the Uru Uru Team, a project located in the central western of Bolivia, focused on restoring the most important and millenarian Uru Uru Lake, which is being affected by mining activities, plastic pollution, and the effects of climate change. The Uru Uru Lake was declared a RAMSAR site; it is an important wetland for the unique flora and fauna species, such as various species of flamingos. The lake is a source of life for more than seven indigenous communities surrounding it.
Stanley Kimaren is the Executive Director of Indigenous Livelihoods Enhancement Partners (ILEPA) in Kenya. He works to support indigenous communities through sustainable development initiatives, advocacy for land rights, and the preservation of cultural heritage. Stanley's efforts aim to empower communities and promote environmental conservation.
Evin Schwartz is the Founder and CEO of Belouga, a global educational platform that connects classrooms to foster cross-cultural understanding and collaborative learning. His work focuses on leveraging technology to enhance education, promote social impact, and prepare students for global citizenship.
