More recently, he has served as the Director of Communications for the Global Climate Action Summit that took place in San Francisco in September 2018.

Catarina moderates for the EU Commission, the Swedish Government, corporations, local municipalities, and universities. She is also content director at A Sustainable Tomorrow and co-founder of the global climate NGO Our Kids´Climate.
Palle Borgström is the President of the Federation of Swedish farmers since 2017. He has extensive experience in board work and a range of trust-based assignments. Between 1989 and 2008 he held several leading roles within the Lantmännen Group and served on the board of Arla Foods from 2008 to 2017. Internationally, Palle Borgström has been a Vice President of the Committee of Professional Agricultural Organisations (COPA) between 2020 and 2024 and a board member of the Nordic Farmers' Central Council (NBC) since 2017. He is also a dairy farmer and runs an agricultural business in Västergötland together with his brother.

Deborah is the Director of ReNew2030, where she leads efforts in collaboration with Regional Climate Foundations to deliver on the x5 wind and solar goal. Before joining ReNew2030, she was with Climate Analytics, where she led initiatives to assess the ambition of GHG emissions reductions targets and policies, and supporting governments in developing pathways aligned with the 1.5oC goal. Her experience also includes a role in the South African government, where she led a team responsible for developing and implementing climate change mitigation policies.
Hajar Khamlichi is a seasoned climate and sustainability strategist with over 16 years of experience in fostering environmental change through collaboration and innovation. Currently, she serves as the North Africa Director at the Pooled Fund for International Energy under the European Climate Foundation, where she spearheads initiatives to accelerate clean energy adoption and enhance cross-border cooperation across Africa, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean region. Hajar's current focus is on building bridges between diverse stakeholders to advance renewable energy deployment and regional cooperation. Her leadership in initiatives like TeraMED and her contributions to multiple UN Climate Conferences underscore the effectiveness of collaborative approaches to complex environmental challenges.
Abigail Ross Hopper is the President and CEO of the Solar Energy Industries Association, the national trade organization for America's solar energy industries. She oversees all of SEIA's activities, including government affairs, research, communications, and industry leadership, and is focused on creating a marketplace where solar will constitute a significant percentage of America’s energy generation.
Maxine Ghavi is Executive Vice President and Head of Europe at Hitachi Energy. Most recently she was the Global Head of Grid Edge Solutions within Hitachi Energy’s Grid Automation Business, a role she held from 2019-2024. Prior, she served in leadership roles at ABB including Head of Market Development for Grid Edge Technologies, Program Director for Microgrids, and Head of Solar Industry Segment Initiative. Maxine brings extensive expertise in Grid Edge solutions, business models and digital technology for the evolving energy system. She holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from San Jose State University in California.
Sofie Ohlsson is the International Coordinator for the youth organization PUSH Sverige. In her work she leads PUSH’s international work related to the EU and UNFCCC. Furthermore, Sofie is a M.Sc. Industrial Ecology student and is currently conducting her master thesis, where she is looking at Arctic climate change and methane fluxes in Icelandic dry tundra.
Diana Ürge-Vorsatz is a Professor at the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy at the Central European University (CEU). She was elected as Vice Chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in July 2023. In the Sixth Assessment cycle she served as Vice-Chair of IPCC’s Working Group III. (Mitigation). She was a Coordinating Lead Author in both the Fourth and Fifth Assessment Reports (AR4 and AR5) of the IPCC. She is Vice President of the Hungarian Scientific Panel on Climate Change. She holds a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, and UCLA and worked in Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Olivia is the Sustainable Transport and Global Outreach Advisor to the Secretary General of the International Transport Forum, where she leads strategic initiatives to engage the transport sector in international climate and energy discussions and support actions towards decarbonisation and resilience of the sector. Prior to this, Olivia was the Head of Global Zero Emission Vehicles Transition in the UK Government, where she led the UK’s COP26 Presidency campaign to accelerate the global transition to ZEVs, including through establishing the ZEV Transition Council, the ZEV declaration and Accelerating to Zero Coalition, and the Road Transport Breakthrough.
In my role as Head of Group Sustainability I develop Telia Company’s sustainability work within both the environmental and social area. Telia is the leading telecommunications and ICT company in the Nordic-Baltic region. The focus of Telia's sustainability work is how digitization can contribute to a sustainable society and how Telia runs its operations in a sustainable manner. The climate transition is urgent and must take place in a safe and inclusive way, meaning that Telia’s focus on digital inclusion, children’s rights, security and privacy as well as responsible sourcing will continue to grow in importance together with the focus on reduced emissions and increased circularity.
Peter is cofounder and CEO of TBN Atlantic Rainforest. Growing up in Rio de Janeiro in southeast Brazil is where he first had the opportunity to visit and be captivated by the spectacular Atlantic Forest. The same forests that TBN is now restoring. He has spent the past two decades in financial services focusing on Brazil and Latin America including over a decade living and working in Brazil.
Andreas Schierenbeck is a Senior Vice President and Executive Officer at Hitachi, Ltd. He is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Hitachi Energy. Andreas joined the company in July 2024 from HH2E, a new green-hydrogen production company where he was co-founder and board member. Previously, he worked as CEO of Uniper from 2019 to 2021, where he launched the company’s decarbonization strategy. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Thyssenkrupp Elevator, where he led the transformation of the company into a global leader leveraging digital technology from 2013 to 2018. Between 1992 and 2012, Andreas held various management positions within Siemens, including President and CEO of Siemens Building Technologies in the United States between 2010 and 2012 and Senior Vice President in the Siemens electric utility sector in Switzerland. He holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Dresden and an Advanced Management Certificate from Harvard University.
