Framework Convention on Climate Change, Nick was the Director of Communications and Spokesperson for the Paris Agreement of 2015. More recently, he has served as the Director of Communications for the Global Climate Action Summit that took place in San Francisco in September 2018.

Catarina moderates for the EU Commission, the Swedish Government, corporations, local municipalities, and universities. She is also content director at A Sustainable Tomorrow and co-founder of the global climate NGO Our Kids´Climate.
Catherine Stewart was appointed as Canada’s Ambassador for Climate Change in 2022. She has served since 2014 in various senior executive positions at Environment and Climate Change Canada including Canada's Chief Negotiator for Climate Change, Assistant Deputy Minister of International Affairs, and Director General for Multilateral Affairs and Climate Change. She has worked in the environment and climate change space internationally, building and nurturing key strategic initiatives including the stand-up of the Powering Past Coal Alliance, the launch of the Global Carbon Pricing Challenge and the Ministerial on Climate Action. With over 27 years in the federal government, she has contributed to public policy issues ranging from international affairs, clean technology promotion and trade, defence and security and military procurement. Prior to joining government, Catherine worked on a United Nations peacekeeping and electoral mission in Mozambique.
Sean Kidney is CEO of the Climate Bonds Initiative, an international NGO, working to mobilize global capital for climate action. Projects include a green bond definitions and certification scheme with $34 trillion of assets represented on its Board; working with the Chinese central bank on how to grow green bonds in China; market development programs in Brazil, Mexico, ASEAN and Africa; and market tracking services for the green bonds industry. He is a member of the European Commission's Platform on Sustainable Finance, and was a member of its predecessors, the 2017 EU High Level Expert Group on Sustainable Finance and the EU Technical Expert Group on Sustainable Finance. He is also a member of green finance committees in China, India, Mexico and Kazakhstan. Sean is also a Professor in Practice at SOAS University of London.
Ambassador Frumerie is also Sweden's Head of Delegation to UNFCCC. Previous positions include head of EU policy, EU single market, Strategic communications, postings in Budapest and Brussels as well as EU advisor in the Prime Minister's Office.
Ivan has been a leading voice for climate action in the banking sector, pioneering efforts on emissions disclosure and target setting. He is the President of the PCAF Board of Directors, a founding member of the UN convened Net Zero Banking Alliance Steering Group, and is a member of the Climate Financial Risk Advisory Committee to the US Government. As CSO for Amalgamated Bank he has led efforts to decarbonize the bank’s portfolio and demonstrate leadership within the banking sector.
Aditi Maheshwari has been addressing climate change from both a public and private sector perspective for over 20 years. She currently serves as the Managing Director for Climate Action Implementation at C40, where she leads new programme design and delivery and funder engagement for major urban climate action programmes spanning multiple regions and sectors. She was previously part of the leadership team of IFC’s Climate Business Department, where her areas of focus included sustainable cooling and decarbonisation of heavy industries. Prior to this appointment, she was the Director for Climate Action in the UN Secretary General’s Executive Office. "
Madeleine holds dual roles within the management team of Alfa Laval's Energy Division.She serves as the President of the Business Unit for Electrolyzer & Fuel Cell Technologies, in addition to her role as the Head of Clean Technologies. In her capacity as the Head of Clean Technologies, Madeleine oversees a wide range of responsibilities, including public affairs, investment and acquisitions, as well as the business development of various applications, such as Energy Storage, Hydrogen and Carbon Capture and Storage. Madeleine's tenure with Alfa Laval began in 2014, during which she has held various positions related to strategy and business development. She is a holder of M.Sc. degrees in both Industrial Engineering and Management, as well as Biotechnology, earned from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.
David Radermacher, holding a Master of Science in Energy Economics from the Universities of Aachen and Münster, brings a wealth of experience in the energy sector. After starting his career at BP, he joined E.ON in 2011, excelling in various strategic and business development positions. Having focused on developing strategies for the sustainable cities business, his journey culminated in his appointment as Vice President Sustainability & Climate in 2018, spearheading E.ON's commitment to sustainability.
Julie Segal leads a climate finance policy program at Environmental Defence Canada, where she advances climate-related financial policy and regulation. She is a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics' Grantham Research Institute on sustainable finance and just transitions, and previously managed a portfolio of impact investments at the McConnell Foundation. She has been awarded national and global awards for integrating environmental justice into sustainable finance, including winning First Prize Paper in the Ethics & Trust in Finance Global Prize. Julie writes about climate finance in the media, contributes to community- and youth-led environmental groups, advises policymakers on climate-related financial policies, and advises foundations on strategies for impact investing. Julie completed a Bachelor of Commerce at McGill University.
Ingmar is serial entrepreneur within financial communication and nominated for a DI Gasell Award, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year, Sweden’s Environmental Influencer 2018, and International Gamechanger of the Year 2020, and Green Warrior 2021. Ingmar Rentzhog has been the chairman of the environmental think tank Global Challenge. He is on the board of Naventus Corporate Finance. He’s a member of Al Gore’s Climate Reality and European Climate Policy Task Force and he was in 2022 appointed a European Climate Pact Ambassador by the European Commission.

He also supports WRI’s efforts to sustainably invest its own endowment. Prior to joining WRI, Anderson worked in several different roles in the financial sector, ranging from public equities investment, private equity, investment banking and equity research.
Martina has over 25 years of experience in Environmental Policy and Programme Management, with a particular focus on energy, buildings, transport and sustainable cities, as well as partnership building. At the UN Environment Programme, she has served in different functions out of Paris and Nairobi, including in the Executive Office, heading UNEP’s work Transport, Bioenergy, Energy Policy, UNEP's work on on Cities and the Secretariat of the Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction, and now heading the Secretariat of the Climate and Clean Air Coalition.
Staffan Stymne is the Co-founder and CEO of T.Loop, bringing over 20 years of expertise in district heating and cooling. With a deep background in renewable energy production, strategy, and business development, Staffan has led efforts to innovate and expand into new markets within the sector. His strategic vision and technical grounding, with an M.Sc. in Applied Cooling and Thermodynamics from the Royal Institute of Technology, drive T.Loop’s mission to create sustainable energy solutions for the future.
Thomas is Executive Vice President in Alfa Laval and President of the Energy Division. The Division is responsible for the end to end process for the products and technologies sold in the energy and process industries. The Division has a turnover of approximately 1,3 BEUR with an operating margin above 15% and 5000 employees. After finishing his Chemical Engineering studies at the Technology University of Denmark, Thomas joined an American company for 5 years working with sales and business development of separation technologies in 2002 he joined Alfa Laval and has had several positions focusing on sales, business development, strategy development and execution.
Martin Rohner is the Executive Director of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values a practitioners’ network of 70+ banks worldwide dedicated to inclusive and sustainable finance, serving over 50 million clients and representing over USD 265 billion combined assets. Martin has served as CEO of Alternative Bank Schweiz, Switzerland’s frontrunner bank in sustainable and ethical finance, as CEO of Max Havelaar Foundation Switzerland and Board Member of Fairtrade International. Further stations of his career in development finance and sustainable development include the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen and in Environment and Development from the University of Cambridge, as well as a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Executive Banking from the University of Bern.
Farrukh Shad is the Head of Schneider Electric’s Sustainability Business for Asia Pacific, India, Middle East & Africa region (APMEA). He is currently based in Dubai, responsible for managing the region’s Energy, Sustainability Services and Sustainability Consulting organization, with the mission to help large enterprises deliver climate mitigation actions and reduce carbon emissions using technological solutions. Leading the Global Team, he crafts unique strategies & solutions that help clients navigate the multitude of challenges in emerging markets in the region as they work towards meeting their and their suppliers’ renewable energy and carbon neutrality goals.
Jacco Minnaar has been Chief Commercial Officer of Triodos Bank since September 2021. Prior to this role, Jacco was Managing Director and Chair of the Management Board of Triodos Investment Management. He is also currently a member of the management board of Hivos Triodos Fund.
Christian is the CEO and founder of Goodwings, the Copenhagen-based hotel platform that calculates, reports, and pays to verifiably remove its clients' travel emissions. Christian is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for impact, with more than 20 years of experience with sustainability.
Dr. Amiera Sawas is a feminist researcher and advocate who works at the intersections of climate change, gender justice, public participation and the social contract. Amiera has almost 20 years experience working on these issues across academia, think tanks and NGOs. Amiera has a PhD on water, climate and human rights and is a contributing author to the latest IPCC report on gender and climate security. She recently joined the Fossil Fuel Non Proliferation Treaty Initiative as Head of Research and Policy.
Dr. Holger Klaassen has been Director Corporate Energy & Climate Affairs at Aurubis AG since April 2024. In this role, he is jointly responsible for CO2 management and Group-wide energy procurement at the energy-intensive copper producer, as well as the transition to green energy sources such as hydrogen. Before joining the industry, Dr. Klaassen worked for ten years in the ministerial administration of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and the Federal Government (both in the economic department) in various functions. As head of department and most recently as head of division, he was responsible for topics including hydrogen, energy, climate and environmental policy, alternative fuels, electromobility and shore-side electricity. Dr. Klaassen is married and has two daughters.
Deborah is the Director of ReNew2030, where she leads efforts in collaboration with Regional Climate Foundations to deliver on the x5 wind and solar goal. Before joining ReNew2030, she was with Climate Analytics, where she led initiatives to assess the ambition of GHG emissions reductions targets and policies, and supporting governments in developing pathways aligned with the 1.5oC goal. Her experience also includes a role in the South African government, where she led a team responsible for developing and implementing climate change mitigation policies.
Hajar Khamlichi is a seasoned climate and sustainability strategist with over 16 years of experience in fostering environmental change through collaboration and innovation. Currently, she serves as the North Africa Director at the Pooled Fund for International Energy under the European Climate Foundation, where she spearheads initiatives to accelerate clean energy adoption and enhance cross-border cooperation across Africa, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean region. Hajar's current focus is on building bridges between diverse stakeholders to advance renewable energy deployment and regional cooperation. Her leadership in initiatives like TeraMED and her contributions to multiple UN Climate Conferences underscore the effectiveness of collaborative approaches to complex environmental challenges.
Abigail Ross Hopper is the President and CEO of the Solar Energy Industries Association, the national trade organization for America's solar energy industries. She oversees all of SEIA's activities, including government affairs, research, communications, and industry leadership, and is focused on creating a marketplace where solar will constitute a significant percentage of America’s energy generation.
Debapriya is well qualified to discuss education as she holds a bachelor’s degree in English and in Education from Jadavpur University and a master’s degree in English from Calcutta University. Debapriya is the recipient of the President of India’s Gold Medal, awarded to the top students in recognition for their all-round performance in academic and extra-curricular excellence. Debapriya is also a recipient of the prestigious United Nations Erasmus Mundus Scholarship in ‘Media, Communication and Cultural Studies’ in 2009.
Since 2022 September Tibor Stelbaczky is working at the European External Action Service (EEAS) as Principal Adviser on Energy Diplomacy. He is dealing with the external dimension of the EU’s energy policy and the implications of the energy transition worldwide. Before joining the EEAS, Ambassador Stelbaczky was the Permanent Representative of Hungary to the EU in Brussels between 2019 and 2022 and Deputy Permanent Representative of Hungary to the EU between 2015 and 2019. Graduated in economic sciences and earned a PhD in international relations. His career started at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a member of the EU accession negotiation team. Later he was posted to Brussels in 2004 working on EU sectoral policies. Then between 2011 and 2014 he was Head of Department at the MFA dealing with climate, energy and environmental issues, including participation at COP meetings. Before moving again to Brussels, he was posted to Toronto, Canada as an economic and trade counsellor.
