How can milestones & dialogue increase action to reach the 2030 Agenda & solve the climate crisis? Join us July 5 for a dialogue on speeding up action!
Is the progress towards sustainability too slow?
Heat records are broken, forests are on fire, south western US is experiencing severe drought, and Stockholm had the most intense rain ever in the beginning of June this year. The pandemic and the escalating climate crisis is affecting all parts of our world, jeopardizing the means to achieve the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable development. This must not happen! Join us on July 5 for a dialogue on speeding up action!
In cooperation with the 2022 Initiative Foundation and Climate Reality Europe, We Don't Have Time participates in this year's Swedish Democracy Festival Almedalen - probably the world's largest meeting place for democracy! Almedalen week is a meeting space for everyone, a place for dialogue and exchange that helps develop our society. On July 5, We Don´t Have Time, 2022 Initiative Foundation, and Climate reality Europe present a dialog seminar on how to increase the speed in the transition. How can we Lead on Climate in Europe? How can we push for higher sustainability ambition globally? How can digitalisation be an enabler? Can milestones for 2022, 2024 and onwards make us all commit toaction? How far can we get by 2022?
Increased progress is needed! To reach the SDGs and the goal of the Paris agreement to limit global warming to below 1,5°C we need to speed up. 2022 marks a special year for sustainability dialogues. It is 50 years since the first UN Conference on the Environment was held in Stockholm and UNEP was formed. A Stockholm+50 conference is planned for 2022. What progress needs to be made by then to secure a sustainable world for future generations and our children?
Join us online on July 5 for a dialogue seminar on how to increase action. Two separate seminars will be held during the day. A Swedish seminar is held 9.00-11.00 CEST, followed by an English seminar 15.00-17.00 CEST. Make sure to download the We Don't Have Time app to be able to ask questions to the participants!
