Watch A Future We Can Love: Inner Transformation to Outer Climate Action on We Don't Have Time
Welcome to A Future We Can Love, brought to you by We Don’t Have Time.
This broadcast will explore how the inner dimensions of climate change—mindsets, psychological resilience, and spirituality—can lead to transformation and action.
An understanding of interdependence – through buddhist philosophy, climate science, and systems thinking – points to the human mind and a crisis of disconnection as important causes of the climate crisis. Interdependence is evident in both climate and human feedback loops that are spiraling out of control.
But what are these feedback loops? How can we shift our mindsets to lean into the “Age of Enough”? How can we ride the waves of climate grief and anxiety while waking up to beauty, compassion, wonder, and possibility? How can we show up, individually and collectively, to change behaviors and policies to ensure a future we can all love?
Join us on We Don’t Have Time as these and other questions are discussed by a panel with expertise in contemplative wisdom and practice, mental health, and policy development and advocacy.
