Framework Convention on Climate Change, Nick was the Director of Communications and Spokesperson for the Paris Agreement of 2015. More recently, he has served as the Director of Communications for the Global Climate Action Summit that took place in San Francisco in September 2018.

In her previous work, as the Director for Big Science Sweden, she has been working with cross-function and cross-country collaboration in advanced processes. She has been driving Alfa Laval’s initiative around sustainable cities and has a broad experience in partnerships, both between industries as well as between industry and academia.
Mike Umiker is a dynamic ambassador for energy-efficient technology, best practices and collaboration. His global journey has taken him to the United Arab Emirates followed by Germany, and now back to Switzerland. With a robust career in the industrial sector, he brings a wealth of experience and a global perspective. he holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Marketing Management from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Ms. Rosalinde van der Vlies is the new Director of DG ENER’s Directorate B, responsible for Just Transition, Consumers, Efficiency, and Innovation. Before this appointment, Ms. van der Vlies served as the Director of the Clean Planet Directorate in the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation. She has also held roles as Head of the Coordination & Interinstitutional Relations Unit and Acting Head of the Communication & Citizens Unit. Previously, she worked in the Directorate-General for Environment, Directorate-General for Justice and Home Affairs, and in the private office of Janez Potočnik, the European Commissioner for the Environment. Before joining the European Commission, Ms. van der Vlies worked as a competition lawyer at an international law firm in Brussels and was a part-time lecturer at the Catholic University of Brussels.
Dan Jørgensen, European Commissioner for Energy and Housing, is a Danish Politician and a Member of the Social Democratic Party of Denmark. He served as a Minister for Development Cooperation and Minister for Global Climate Policy (December 2022 – 2024), as Minister for Climate, Energy, and Utilities (June 2019 – December 2022). He has been a Member of the Danish Parliament (Folketinget) since 2015, having served as Vice-Chairman, Parliamentary Group of the Social Democratic Party (2017-2019) and Vice-Chairman, Danish Delegation to NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Before entering the Danish Parliament, D. Jørgensen he had been elected as the Member of the European Parliament within the S&D Group (July 2004 – November 2013). Within the EP he had led numerous initiatives and drafted key reports, having been also: Vice-Chairman, Committee on Environment, Public Health, and Food Safety; President of the Animal Welfare Intergroup; and the Head of the Danish delegation of Social Democrats (2009-2013). D. Jørgensen has master’s degree in political science from Aarhus University, Denmark (which he obtained in 2004), and subsequently to it, pursued also an academic career. He lectured as External Lecturer at several universities University of Copenhagen; Seattle University; Sciences Po, Paris; Danish Institute for Study Abroad, Copenhagen; Department of Political Science, Aarhus University – all in the years 2010-13), as also as Adjunct Professor at the Aalborg University, Denmark (2016 – 2019).
Dave Rhéaume was appointed Executive Vice President – Energy and Regulatory Strategy and Industrial Activities in 2025. In this role, he is responsible for managing the company’s energy strategy. He oversees procurement, regulatory and tariff strategy, the trading floor, and agreements with other jurisdictions. He also leads the development of energy efficiency programs aimed at contributing to Québec’s decarbonization and economic development objectives. Mr. Rhéaume was previously appointed Executive Vice President – Energy Planning and Customer Experience in 2023, after serving as Vice President – Integrated Energy Needs Planning and Risk in 2022 and 2023. He worked for Énergir from 2009 to 2018. Mr. Rhéaume is a member of the boards of directors of the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde and the Fondation de l’Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur de Montréal. He has also served on the boards of various Canadian and U.S. energy companies.
Jérôme Bilodeau is Head of Analysis at the International Energy Agency’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Inclusive Transitions in Paris. Prior to this role, he was Director of the Buildings and Industry Division in the Government of Canada, where he oversaw federal policy and programming pertaining to efficiency in buildings and industry, and Senior Consultant at Dunsky Energy + Climate Advisors, where he advised clients across North America. He holds a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, and an MBA from HEC Montréal.
Ben Copp has been with Canada's Office of Energy Efficiency since 2022, first as Senior Director of Strategic Policy and Analysis, and since 2024, as Director General. His Canadian public service career has spanned almost 20 years, including as Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at Natural Resources Canada, Director of the Resource Division at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, and as a Senior Advisor in the Privy Council Office. Prior to his federal government career, he spent almost 5 years leading initiatives for provincial and municipal governments in British Columbia, on Canada's west coast.
